Reriutaba Map Poster & Print
Reriutaba is a small municipality in the north-western interior of Ceará, in north-eastern Brazil. The town forms a modest grid of streets around a central square and church. Beyond its edges the map opens onto the semi-arid countryside of the sertão, with dirt roads, scattered farms, low hills and seasonal rivers.
Water is a central concern in this part of Ceará, and reservoirs, or açudes, are an important part of the landscape. On the map they appear as solid shapes with branching outlines, following the valleys they fill. Roads link the town with rural communities and with the larger towns of the region.
A Reriutaba map poster captures a place defined by its setting: a compact town, a network of roads crossing open land, and the irregular silhouettes of water held in the dry landscape. It is a clear, uncluttered image of the Ceará interior.
