Planned street grid
The core is a regular pattern of wide avenues and rectangular blocks, with mosques and open squares fitted into the grid. The result is an ordered, almost hand-drafted look.

Rumāḩ Map Poster & Print
Rumāḩ lies in the Riyadh Region, northeast of the capital, on flat ground with few natural obstacles. From the air it is a planned town of broad streets and rectangular blocks. The edges are crisp: the grid simply ends, and the land beyond continues as open desert marked by tracks, fenced farm plots and the long straight lines of roads heading toward the horizon.
The town is the centre of its own governorate, a large area of desert plains and seasonal valleys. The wider area is known for camel herding and for the open landscape that draws people from Riyadh for winter camping. Both show on the map as sparse lines and wide empty ground, so the town itself becomes a small, sharply defined shape in the middle of the frame.
A Rumāḩ map poster works because of that restraint. The street grid reads as a clean geometric block, the highways run out in straight lines, and the surroundings stay quiet. In black and white, or in the warm Sand style, it looks almost architectural, like a portrait of a desert town built to a plan and seen from high above.

Desert approaches
Long straight roads leave town across flat country. Once the view is widened beyond the built-up area, these lines take over the frame and give it a strong sense of distance.
Farm plots
Irrigated farms are scattered around the town. Their fenced plots and occasional circular fields form small geometric islands in the open desert.

Zakaj Rumāḩ
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
For families with roots in Rumah, or Riyadh residents who spend winter weekends camping in the nearby desert, this map is a reminder of a particular horizon. Its tidy geometry also suits modern interiors where a quiet, graphic print works better than a busy image.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with a family name or a date, and choose one of five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The HD files cost $9 and include six print sizes, each as a 300 DPI PNG and a PDF.
