Sambiase Map Poster & Print
Sambiase is part of Lamezia Terme in Calabria, one of three towns merged into a single municipality in 1968 along with Nicastro and Sant'Eufemia Lamezia. On the map, Sambiase sits where the hills meet the plain, its streets climbing gently at the back and spreading more loosely toward the flatter land in front. The layout reads as a town that grew along roads rather than inside walls.
Below it, the plain of Sant'Eufemia opens out toward the Gulf of Sant'Eufemia on the Tyrrhenian coast. Farm plots, straight rural roads and drainage channels fill this lower ground, and the map shows the clear transition from hillside settlement to flat, cultivated land. Nearby are the thermal springs of the Terme Caronte, a spa that has drawn visitors for centuries.
A Sambiase map poster shows a side of Calabria between mountain and sea. The frame captures the town's streets, the start of the hills and the wide agricultural plain, a composition with a clear sense of direction. For people who grew up here, or whose family left for the north of Italy or abroad, it is a precise and personal image of home.
