Sāngaria Map Poster & Print
Sāngaria lies in Rajasthan on the edge of the Jodhpur urban area, in the arid Marwar region on the fringe of the Thar Desert. From above, it is part of a city in expansion, where older, closely packed neighbourhoods sit next to wider roads, industrial plots and open, dry land that has not yet been built on.
The street pattern shows this mix clearly. Some areas have narrow, irregular lanes that follow the logic of an older settlement, while others are laid out in straight lines with large lots. There are few rivers here, so it is the roads and rail lines that give the map its structure.
A Sāngaria map poster works well as a portrait of a specific part of Jodhpur. At a local scale, the map records the texture of daily life, including familiar lanes, junctions and neighbourhood blocks, and the open spaces around them keep the composition light and readable.

Industrial layout
Straighter roads and larger rectangular plots mark areas of industrial and newer development, a sharp contrast to the finer grain of older neighbourhoods.
Arid open ground
Unbuilt, dry land surrounds and separates parts of the area, leaving empty space on the poster that reflects the desert setting of western Rajasthan.
