Canal lines
Irrigation canals cross the countryside in long, straight strokes. On the poster they read like drafting lines, giving the flat plain a clear structure and framing the town between them.

Sarai Sidhu Map Poster & Print
Sarai Sidhu is a town in Khanewal District, in Pakistan's Punjab province, on the broad alluvial plain of the central Punjab. The land is almost perfectly flat, and the map shows it. There are no hills to bend the roads. Streets run in fairly straight lines, and the town's dense core gives way almost immediately to open agricultural land.
The surrounding landscape belongs to the irrigation system that turned this region into farmland. Canals and distributaries cross the plain in long, deliberate lines, and field boundaries are set out in regular parcels between them. Around the town, those straight engineered channels contrast with the tighter, less regular lanes of the older settlement.
A Sarai Sidhu map poster captures a very Punjabi composition: a close-knit town in a wide, ruled landscape of water and fields. The name itself refers to a sarai, a traditional roadside inn, and the Sidhu clan name. Historically, towns like this grew up as stopping points along routes across the plain.

Compact town core
The centre is a dense web of short lanes and closely packed blocks. In black and white it forms a dark, textured patch set against the lighter pattern of surrounding fields.
Field geometry
Farm plots are laid out in regular parcels around the settlement. Their repeating edges make the countryside nearly as graphic as the streets, which suits a minimalist print.

Zakaj Sarai Sidhu
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
For people with roots in Khanewal District, the map shows a place that is otherwise hard to picture from above: a small town held in a grid of canals and fields. It is a quiet, personal piece that fits a home or office.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a family name or a date in Urdu transliteration or English. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Paper and Sand suit the plains setting.
