Rocca dei Boiardo
The castle sits at the heart of the old centre. The streets gather around its footprint, forming a tight knot that anchors the whole composition.

Scandiano Map Poster & Print
Scandiano lies in the province of Reggio Emilia, right where the flat Po plain meets the foothills of the Apennines. The map shows that transition clearly. To the north, roads run long and straight across farmland. To the south, they start to bend with the slope. The historic centre is a small, dense cluster around the Rocca dei Boiardo, the fortress that for centuries set the shape of the town.
The Tresinaro stream runs along the edge of town, and its course is marked by a thin line of vegetation and bridges. Newer neighbourhoods and industrial areas spread out on the flatter ground. On the higher side, the streets open onto vineyards and scattered farmhouses. Together this makes a layered map: a compact core, a looser middle ring, and countryside whose texture changes with the terrain.
Scandiano is the birthplace of the Renaissance poet Matteo Maria Boiardo, author of the Orlando Innamorato, and of the naturalist Lazzaro Spallanzani. The surrounding hills give their name to a local wine denomination. A Scandiano map poster frames a small Emilian town where literary history, farming and the gradual rise of the land all show up in the street pattern.

Tresinaro stream
A narrow watercourse runs along the town. Its bridges and green banks make a soft line that separates parts of the built-up area.
Plain meets hills
Straight roads to the north give way to curving lanes to the south, so the change in terrain can be read directly in the street network.

Zakaj Scandiano
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Scandiano suits anyone with family roots in Emilia-Romagna, anyone who studied Boiardo or Spallanzani, or anyone who has spent time among the vineyards on its hills. The map is modest in scale and detailed at the centre. It works well in a study, a kitchen or a hallway where a quiet print fits better than a bold one.
You can edit the title, the subtitle and the coordinates line, for example to mark a wedding in the old town or a year spent living there. There are five styles to choose from, including Paper and Sand. Digital HD files cost $9, and printed posters ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
