Amu Darya plain
The river's wide, braided course runs near the town. On the poster its channels and sandbars give the sheet a loose, organic edge against the straight town streets.

Seydi Map Poster & Print
Seydi lies in eastern Turkmenistan, close to the broad channel of the Amu Darya. On a map it is a small, orderly settlement: a grid of residential blocks, a few main roads and a large industrial area, set in the green band of irrigated land that follows the river through otherwise dry country.
The town is best known for its oil refinery, one of the main industrial sites in the region, and its layout reflects that: housing on one side, plant and rail on the other, straight roads between them. Outside the town, field boundaries and irrigation channels cut the land into long strips that end abruptly where the desert begins.
A Seydi map poster shows this contrast clearly. The dense town sits in the middle of the sheet, the river and its floodplain run along one edge, and the thin lines of canals and farm tracks fill the rest. It is a spare, geometric composition that reads well even in a small format.

Planned residential grid
The housing area is laid out in regular blocks with straight streets, a pattern that turns into a neat, almost diagrammatic texture in black and white.
Irrigation lines
Canals and field tracks radiate into the surrounding farmland, drawing long parallel lines that fade out where irrigated land gives way to open desert.

Zakaj Seydi
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
A print of Seydi is usually a personal one: for people who grew up or worked there, it holds the whole town in a single view, from the housing blocks to the river beyond. The simple geometry also makes it an attractive abstract image.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with a year or a family name. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, the last of which suits this desert landscape particularly well.
