Shancheng Map Poster & Print
Shancheng is the main town of Shan County, in the far southwest of Shandong Province near the borders with Henan, Anhui and Jiangsu. It sits on the North China Plain, where the land is almost perfectly flat and the countryside is divided into long fields and straight roads. On a map the town forms a neat, compact block of streets in the middle of that agricultural pattern.
Like many county towns in this part of China, Shancheng has expanded rapidly, with wide new avenues, residential compounds and public squares added around an older centre. Without hills to work around, the plan is shaped mostly by roads and by the edges of farmland, which gives it a clear, orderly geometry.
A Shancheng map poster emphasises structure: long straight lines, large rectangular blocks and a clear edge where the town gives way to fields. It is a calm, graphic image, well suited to modern interiors, and a meaningful piece for anyone from Shan County who now lives elsewhere in China or abroad.

Plain all around
The surrounding North China Plain is flat and intensively farmed, so the edges of the print fill with fine field lines and village clusters.
Four-province corner
Shan County lies where Shandong meets Henan, Anhui and Jiangsu, and roads leaving the town lead toward these neighbouring provinces across the open plain.
