Soroca Map Poster & Print
Soroca lies on the right bank of the Dniester, which forms the border with Ukraine at this point. From above, the town follows the river in a long curve, with the flat riverside area giving way to hills to the west. Streets climb the slopes in winding lines, while the older centre sits closer to the water.
Near the riverbank stands Soroca Fortress, a round stone fortification associated with Stephen the Great, whose circular outline is one of the most recognisable shapes on the map. On a hill above the town, a neighbourhood known for its large, ornate houses built by the local Roma community has given Soroca a distinctive reputation within Moldova.
A Soroca map poster brings together the river, the fortress and the hillside streets in a single frame. The Ukrainian bank opposite adds a second edge, so the composition feels balanced between the two sides of the Dniester.

Soroca Fortress
The round fortress near the water appears as a small, perfect circle, a rare geometric shape among the town's irregular streets.
Hillside neighbourhoods
West of the river, streets wind up the slopes, creating a looser, curving network that contrasts with the flatter riverside centre.
