Pays de Herve bocage
Small fields bounded by hedges and farm tracks cover much of the commune, drawing a fine, uneven mesh of lines between the built-up village centres.

Soumagne Map Poster & Print
Soumagne sits on the rolling plateau of the Pays de Herve, east of Liège. From above it does not form one compact town. Instead, a cluster of villages and hamlets is joined by lanes that follow the land rather than a plan. Between them lies a patchwork of small fields and hedgerows, typical of this corner of Wallonia, which gives the map a fine, irregular texture.
The most unusual line on the map runs below ground. The high-speed railway from Liège towards Aachen passes beneath the commune through the Soumagne tunnel, one of the longest rail tunnels in Belgium. On the surface, the motorway towards Germany cuts a broad, confident curve through the countryside and sits in contrast to the older roads, which twist between farms and village centres.
A Soumagne map poster shows the balance between these layers. Dense knots of streets mark the old village cores, looser ribbons of houses stretch along the connecting roads, and open ground fills the gaps. The result is quiet and detailed, a map that rewards a closer look rather than making a single bold statement.

Motorway sweep
The motorway towards the German border crosses the area in long, smooth curves, a modern stroke laid over a much older network of lanes.
Village clusters
Rather than one centre, several compact cores appear as darker knots of streets, each linked to the next by roads lined with houses.

You can add your own title, a subtitle and a coordinates line, perhaps a family name or a date that matters. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to suit the room where it will hang.
