Progo River mouth
The river spreads wide near the coast, its channels and sandbanks drawn as soft shapes that mark the western edge of the district and meet the ocean in a broad estuary.

Srandakan Map Poster & Print
Srandakan lies in the southwest of Bantul Regency, where the plains south of Yogyakarta meet the Indian Ocean. On a map it looks almost geometric: small village roads and irrigation lines laid across flat farmland, with the Progo River forming a broad western boundary and the coastline running as a clean, nearly straight line along the south. Settlement is scattered in clusters rather than gathered into a single dense centre.
The river is the most striking element. The Progo widens as it nears the sea, splitting around sandbars before it reaches the coast, and a bridge carries the road west toward Kulon Progo. Along the shore, a belt of sand and low dunes separates the fields from the surf, a landscape typical of this stretch of southern Java.
Because there are no large avenues or landmark squares, a Srandakan map poster is really a portrait of rural order: roads that follow field boundaries, hamlets tucked between paddies, and water on two sides. It rewards a close look, with patterns that feel calm and even, much like the land itself.

South coast shoreline
The Indian Ocean coast runs almost perfectly straight here, a single strong line along the bottom of the map with a strip of sand and dunes behind it.
Village road web
Narrow roads link small hamlets across the farmland, forming a loose web of short segments rather than a central grid, which gives the poster a fine, even texture.
