Two-river confluence
The Sekong joins the Mekong just beyond the town, and the meeting of the narrower and broader channels is the main shape on the map.

Stung Treng Map Poster & Print
Stung Treng is the capital of Stung Treng province in north-east Cambodia, close to the border with Laos. It sits on the Sekong River just above where it joins the Mekong, and from above, water is everywhere. The Sekong curves past the town, the far wider Mekong lies beyond, and islands, sandbars and channels break up the surface of the river.
The town's streets form a modest grid along the riverbank, with a market near the waterfront and roads leading north toward Laos and south toward Kratie. Bridges carry major roads across the rivers and are among the clearest structures on the map. Upstream on the Mekong, a stretch of flooded forest and channels is protected as a Ramsar wetland.
A Stung Treng map poster is a river picture first and a town picture second. The streets sit compactly on one bank while the rivers spread across most of the frame, splitting around islands and sandbars. In Blueprint or Noir the water becomes a strong graphic field. In Paper or Sand it feels closer to an old survey chart.

Mekong islands
Sandbars and islands are scattered across the Mekong's wide bed. Their outlines turn the river into a complex, layered pattern instead of a single band.
River bridges
Long bridges cross the rivers near the town. Their straight lines cut across the curving water and connect Stung Treng with the rest of the country.
