Suihua Map Poster & Print
Suihua sits in the middle of Heilongjiang's farming heartland, north of the provincial capital Harbin. The land here is almost perfectly flat, and the map reflects it: the city is laid out as a largely rectangular grid of wide avenues and large blocks, with little in the way of hills or rivers to bend the streets out of line.
Around the city the countryside is divided into enormous, regular fields on the rich black soil for which the region is known. Rice, soybeans and maize are the main crops, and on a map the farmland appears as an open, finely ruled expanse, cut by straight roads and drainage channels that run toward the horizon.
The railway from Harbin toward the northern border passes through the city, and its tracks and station form one of the strongest lines on the plan. A Suihua map poster suits people who appreciate order and scale: a modern northern Chinese city drawn with clean geometry, surrounded by the calm, repetitive pattern of the fields that feed it.

Railway line
The line from Harbin runs through the city on its way north, a long straight stroke that crosses the grid and anchors the whole composition.
Black-soil fields
Beyond the built edge, vast rectangular fields stretch in every direction, giving the map an even, textured border that frames the city like a margin.

Zakaj Suihua
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
A map of Suihua is a quiet reminder of home for people from Heilongjiang living elsewhere in China or abroad, and a striking piece of graphic design for anyone who likes regular, geometric city plans.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates with a name, a date or the name of a district, and pick one of five styles. Noir suits the long northern winters, while Sand reflects the harvest colours of the plain.
