Canal-lined streets
Irrigation channels run alongside many streets and between plots, adding a second set of straight lines to the map and showing how water organises the settlement.

Suzak Map Poster & Print
Suzak lies just south of the city of Jalal-Abad, on the eastern edge of the Fergana Valley in southern Kyrgyzstan. It is the centre of the district that shares its name. On a map it reads less as a compact town than as a broad agricultural settlement, with streets running in long parallel lines between plots, gardens and fields watered by a network of channels.
Irrigation defines this landscape, and the drawing shows it. Canals and ditches cut clean straight lines across the ground, and the streets often run beside them, forming a grid that comes from water as much as planning. To the east the land starts rising toward the foothills, while to the west it opens out onto the valley floor that extends toward the Uzbek border.
A Suzak map poster captures that ordered, lived-in pattern: long residential streets, courtyard plots and water channels, all at the same even rhythm. It makes a fitting piece for anyone from the Jalal-Abad region, or for anyone who knows the Fergana Valley, where the shape of a village is often written by its water supply.

Long parallel blocks
Residential streets stretch in long, even rows, with household plots and gardens between them. From above this creates a steady, almost woven texture across the whole town.
Edge of Jalal-Abad
Suzak sits close to the southern side of Jalal-Abad, and roads link the two. Depending on the framing, the poster can show where one settlement starts to meet the other.
