Po plain geometry
Fields, farm roads and irrigation ditches divide the countryside into long rectangles. They give the edges of the map a strong, linear rhythm.

Suzzara Map Poster & Print
Suzzara lies in the province of Mantua in Lombardy, on the flat alluvial plain south of the Po River. Water and farming have shaped this whole landscape, and the map shows it clearly. Straight roads run across open fields, and irrigation channels appear as thin lines. The town centre spreads evenly outward, with no hills or coast to interrupt it.
Suzzara has a notable place in Italian cultural history through the Premio Suzzara, an art prize founded in 1948 that focused on work and working life. The town is also an industrial centre, known for the Iveco plant where the Daily van is built. Its large, rectangular buildings form a separate zone on the map, apart from the older residential streets.
Beyond the town, the plain is divided into long, narrow fields lined with rows of trees and ditches, a pattern typical of the Mantuan countryside. A Suzzara map poster brings together the compact centre, the industrial edge and this orderly agricultural grid. The result is a calm, balanced image of life in the Po valley.

Industrial district
The Iveco plant and other industrial sites form a zone of large, regular footprints. It is clearly distinct from the finer street pattern of the historic centre.
Near the Po
The Po River flows a short distance to the north. The low, open ground between the town and the river reflects centuries of life beside Italy's longest river.
