Planned grid
Wide avenues and square blocks form a regular pattern across the town, a clear sign that it was laid out in advance rather than grown piece by piece.

Tangará da Serra Map Poster & Print
Tangará da Serra lies in western Mato Grosso, at the foot of the Serra de Tapirapuã, the range that gives the town the second half of its name. Settled in the mid-twentieth century as farmers pushed into Brazil's interior, the town was planned from the start. From above it shows a broad, regular grid of wide avenues and square blocks spreading across gently sloping ground.
Around the town, the map shows large, geometric fields. The region is an important agricultural area, producing soy, corn, sugarcane and cattle. The straight lines of farm roads and field edges continue the urban grid into the countryside, so the town and the land around it seem to follow one logic.
A Tangará da Serra map poster shows a young city with a clear, deliberate plan: long straight streets, a regular rhythm of blocks and the bold edge of the serra nearby. It suits anyone who likes order and open space, and people who helped build this part of the country.

Serra de Tapirapuã
The long ridge that gives the town its name rises nearby and adds a strong natural line that breaks the evenness of the plain.
Farmland geometry
Beyond the town, straight farm roads and huge rectangular fields continue the grid into the countryside, giving the whole map a steady structure.
