Straight rural roads
Long, straight roads cross the plain and converge on the town. On the poster they act like guide lines that pull the eye toward the centre of the composition.

Taoyuan Map Poster & Print
This Taoyuan lies in the far north of Jiangsu, on the low, flat plain that stretches across the Huai River basin. It should not be confused with other places of the same name elsewhere in China. From above, the landscape is almost entirely level. Roads run straight for long distances, and the town appears as a compact cluster where several of them meet.
Water shapes the land here even where there is no large river in view. Drainage ditches and irrigation channels cut the countryside into rectangles, and ponds dot the spaces between villages. The built-up area follows the same logic, with streets that mostly meet at right angles, flanked by low blocks. Beyond them the field pattern begins almost at once.
A Taoyuan map poster captures that geometry of the northern Jiangsu plain: the town at the centre, the ruled farm roads leading away from it, and the fine lines of channels threading between plots. It is an understated, orderly image. It works well for anyone with family roots in the area, or for anyone who likes maps where agricultural land and settlement share the frame equally.

Channels and ponds
A dense network of drainage ditches and small ponds covers the surrounding land. It adds delicate detail that is typical of the low-lying Huai basin.
Compact town core
The built-up area is small and tightly organised. Its short grid of streets makes a clear focal point amid the wide expanse of fields.

Zakaj Taoyuan
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Many people from northern Jiangsu have moved to bigger cities, and a map of their home town is a simple, lasting way to keep it close. The plain's quiet geometry also suits modern interiors, where a restrained line drawing sits comfortably beside other artwork.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with the town's name in Chinese characters or a year that matters to your family. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to match the room.
