Taquarana Map Poster & Print
Taquarana sits in the agreste of Alagoas, the transitional belt between the humid coastal zone and the dry sertão further west. From above, the town reads as a tight cluster of blocks gathered around a central core, with roads leaving in several directions toward neighbouring towns and rural settlements. Beyond the last houses the pattern changes quickly into a patchwork of smallholdings, tracks and field boundaries.
Its setting places it within reach of Arapiraca, the largest city of the Alagoas interior, and the surrounding countryside shares the region's farming character. On a map this shows up as a web of minor roads threading between plots, with small reservoirs and seasonal streams appearing as scattered marks across the land rather than as a single dominant river.
A Taquarana map poster suits this kind of place well. With colour removed, the drawing is reduced to street lines and open ground, so the contrast between the dense centre and the loose rural pattern becomes the whole composition. It is a quiet, legible map, the sort that people from small towns often recognise instantly by the angle of a single road.

Roads to Arapiraca
Regional roads connect Taquarana to Arapiraca and other agreste towns, drawn as longer, smoother lines that cut across the finer mesh of local streets and rural tracks.
Agreste field pattern
Around the town, smallholdings and farm tracks create an irregular texture of lines, a typical sight in the Alagoas interior where cultivated plots meet drier open land.
