Valley floor setting
The town occupies level ground in the valley, with fields spreading out around it, so the built area reads as a compact form inside a wider band of farmland.

Taşova Map Poster & Print
Taşova is a district town in Amasya province in northern Turkey. It lies on the floor of a broad river valley within the Yeşilırmak basin, on level ground framed by hills. The town's streets spread across this flat land, with main roads running along the valley and smaller residential streets filling in between, while cultivated fields surround the built area.
On a map, the contrast between valley and slope is immediately visible. The built area and the rectangular field parcels occupy the flat floor, while the surrounding hills appear as open space crossed by a few winding roads. A Taşova map poster shows how the town is held within this landscape rather than spread loosely across it.
Taşova is largely an agricultural district, and its plain is given over to farming. It is a small, practical town rather than a destination, which gives its map a personal meaning for the people who come from it, many of whom now live in larger Turkish cities or abroad and keep close ties to home.

Framing hills
Slopes rising on either side of the valley leave broad open spaces on the map and give the composition a natural, gently enclosing border.
Roads along the valley
Main routes follow the flat valley floor, linking Taşova with neighbouring towns and forming the strongest straight lines in the frame.

Zakaj Taşova
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
For families from Taşova who have settled in Istanbul, Ankara or elsewhere in Europe, a map of the town is a steady reminder of where they began. It also makes a considered gift for a parent or grandparent who still thinks of the valley as home.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be written as you like, for example with a family name or a year, and there are five styles to choose from: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Prints and $9 digital files are both available.
