The centre is a tight arrangement of rectangular blocks. In print it forms a small, dense shape against the open plain around it.

Temblador Map Poster & Print
Temblador sits in the south of Monagas state, where the plains of eastern Venezuela begin to flatten toward the Orinoco delta. From above, the town is a compact cluster of blocks with nothing tall around it, surrounded by open country and thin lines of vegetation that follow the watercourses. Roads leave it in long straight lines, which makes the outline easy to read.
The name is also linked to one of the early oil fields of eastern Venezuela, and the surrounding landscape still shows the influence of that industry. Drawn in monochrome, the town looks quiet and orderly. Straight streets, scattered outlying blocks and the paths of streams across the plain give the page a sparse, horizontal balance that feels true to the place.
A Temblador map poster works best when it includes some of the surrounding lowland, so that the town appears as it really is: a settled patch in a wide, level landscape. The black and white treatment removes colour and leaves only structure, with streets, water and roads, which is often how people who grew up there remember it.

Lowland watercourses
Streams and channels wind across the flat terrain around the town. Their irregular lines contrast with the straight roads and give the composition movement.
Roads into the plain
Long, nearly straight routes run out of Temblador toward neighbouring towns. They cross the poster like ruled lines and make its isolation clear.

Zakaj Temblador
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
People hang a Temblador map because it is home, a family origin or a place tied to work in eastern Venezuela. A plain drawing of its streets keeps that connection without needing a photograph, and it sits calmly on a wall next to other pictures.
You can personalise the title, the subtitle and the coordinates line, for example with a family name or a year. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, so the poster suits the room it is going into.
