Canal network
Long, straight canals cross the district in a loose grid, with smaller channels branching off them. They form the strongest and most distinctive lines on the poster.

Thới Lai Map Poster & Print
Thới Lai is a district of Cần Thơ in the heart of the Mekong Delta. It lies west of the city's urban core in flat, low country laced with water. The district is mainly agricultural, and from above it looks nothing like a compact town. The map shows a network of canals and roads running across wide fields, with homes and small markets strung along their banks.
Across the delta, canals were dug over generations to drain and irrigate the land and to move goods by boat. In Thới Lai they give the map its structure. Straight channels meet at right angles or run in long parallel rows, and smaller waterways branch off them. Settlement follows the water, so houses line the canal banks in thin ribbons rather than dense blocks.
A Thới Lai map poster captures a place where water and farmland matter more than streets. In black and white the canals become fine, rhythmic lines, and the district town appears as a small knot where roads and waterways meet. The result is closer to a drawing of a landscape than a city plan.

Ribbon settlements
Houses, gardens and small shops line the canal banks and roadsides in narrow bands. The built-up areas appear as thin threads running through open farmland.
District centre
The district's main town is a small, denser cluster of streets where roads and waterways converge. It is the one point on the map where the pattern tightens.
