Old town on the rise
The historic centre stands on higher ground back from the sea. Its short, winding streets contrast with the more regular blocks built later, closer to the coast.

Torredembarra Map Poster & Print
Torredembarra lies on the Catalan coast northeast of Tarragona, on the stretch known as the Costa Daurada. The historic town stands slightly inland on higher ground, while a newer district, Baix a Mar, runs along the shore. From above, the two areas read as separate patterns, joined by streets running down toward the sea.
The old centre is compact and irregular, built around the Castell dels Icart, a Renaissance castle-palace. On the coast, a lighthouse marks the shoreline and a marina shelters boats behind its breakwater. Sandy beaches stretch along the water, and toward the east the protected dunes of Els Muntanyans keep a rare section of this coast free of building.
A Torredembarra map poster captures the full sequence from hill to sea. The dense old streets sit toward the top of the frame, residential blocks spread downhill, and the smooth coastline closes the composition at the bottom. It is a satisfying layout for anyone who knows the walk from the old town down to the beach.

Lighthouse and marina
The lighthouse and the marina's breakwater mark the waterfront. On the map, the harbour's hard edges interrupt the otherwise soft curve of the beach.
Els Muntanyans dunes
To the east, the built area gives way to dunes and coastal wetland in the protected area of Els Muntanyans, an undeveloped stretch that leaves open space on the map.

Zakaj Torredembarra
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Torredembarra is a summer place for many families from Barcelona, Lleida and further afield, and a year-round home for others. A map of the town marks either kind of attachment, whether that means childhood holidays or daily walks by the sea.
Add a title, subtitle and coordinates of your choice, perhaps the year you first came, and pick from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper and Sand give a soft, warm finish that suits a Mediterranean coastline.
