Zemljevid
Uherský Brod Map Poster & Print
Uherský Brod lies in the Zlín region of southeastern Moravia, in the valley of the Olšava river. The map shows a compact historic centre with a main square and narrow streets. Around it are residential districts, industrial areas and railway lines that follow the valley. To the east, the land rises gradually toward the White Carpathians and the Slovak border.
The town is closely associated with John Amos Comenius, the seventeenth-century educator and philosopher, and has a museum dedicated to his life and work. It is also home to Česká zbrojovka, one of the country's best-known firearms makers. The company's large factory site is one of the most prominent features on the map.
An Uherský Brod map poster balances these layers: the tight old town, the broad factory grounds and the river curving through fields and orchards. The villages and hills of Moravian Slovakia around it form a softer frame. The print gives you urban detail along with a sense of the landscape beyond.

Olšava valley
The river curves through the valley past the town, with the railway lines and roads following the same low ground.
Industrial grounds
Large factory complexes take up a significant part of the town. Their long rectangular halls make bold, geometric shapes against the residential streets.
