Unaí Map Poster & Print
Unaí lies in northwest Minas Gerais, on the high cerrado plateau not far from the Federal District. The city's map is compact and orderly: a regular grid of blocks on gently sloping ground, with the Rio Preto running nearby. Beyond the last streets, the land opens into vast agricultural fields that make the municipality a major grain-producing area.
Agriculture defines Unaí. Soybeans, beans, corn and cattle drive the local economy, and the municipality is known for large-scale irrigated farming. From the air this creates a distinctive landscape of circular fields watered by centre pivots. The pattern of discs and quarter-circles makes the region instantly recognisable in satellite images.
An Unaí map poster shows the town itself in fine detail, from the straight streets of the centre to the newer neighbourhoods expanding across the plateau. The river and the country roads leading out to the farms give the composition its edges. It is a portrait of a city that grew by serving the fields around it.

Rio Preto
The river runs near the city. Its winding course is a soft contrast to the straight streets and a natural edge to the urban area.
Pivot-irrigated farmland
Circular fields watered by centre-pivot irrigation surround the region. They form discs and arcs that stand out whenever the map is drawn at a wider scale.
