Utengule Map Poster & Print
Utengule lies in the Mbeya region of southwestern Tanzania, on the high ground that makes this part of the country cooler and greener than the lowlands. On the map it does not show a dense grid. It shows a spread of lanes and footpaths linking homesteads, fields and small trading points across undulating land.
The surrounding area is agricultural, and the layout reflects it: roads follow the gentler slopes, while plots of cultivation fill the spaces between them. A few more important roads connect the settlement to the wider Mbeya area, standing out as longer, more continuous lines through the finer network.
A Utengule map poster is an image of rural highland life drawn at street scale. The lines are irregular and organic, shaped by land and use rather than by a planner, and that gives the print a hand-drawn quality. It suits anyone with roots in the area who wants a precise record of home.

Connecting roads
A few stronger routes link Utengule to the wider Mbeya region. They form the longest continuous lines on the map and give it structure.
Upland terrain
The rolling highland ground shapes where roads can run, so lines curve with the slopes and leave cultivated land between them.
