Vallensbæk Map Poster & Print
Vallensbæk sits on the southwestern edge of greater Copenhagen, and on the map it has two distinct characters. Inland, broad motorway and railway corridors heading toward the city cut through the older village core and the residential streets. To the south, the land opens into wetland and lakes, and finally into the flat, sweeping line of the Køge Bay coast.
Much of that coast is a made landscape. The Køge Bay beach park, laid out in the late twentieth century, reshaped a stretch of shallow shoreline into lagoons, dunes and a long sandy strip. Vallensbæk's small harbour sits along it. Between town and sea, the open ground of Vallensbæk Mose adds a quiet band of water and green that reads beautifully in monochrome.
A Vallensbæk map poster captures these layers in fine black lines: the geometric harbour basins, the soft curves of the lagoons, the lakes of the bog and the dense residential blocks to the north. The composition is calm and balanced, half built and half water. It suits anyone who knows the commuter trains and the beach paths of this corner of Denmark.

Vallensbæk Mose
An open stretch of bog and lakes lies between the town and the coast. It forms a pale, irregular clearing in the middle of the suburban street pattern.
Harbour basins
Vallensbæk's small marina adds a precise, rectangular geometry to the waterline. It makes a crisp contrast with the natural edges of the bay and lagoons.
