Valley Stream Map Poster & Print
Valley Stream is a village in southwestern Nassau County, on Long Island, directly across the border from Queens. From above, it is a dense suburban layout of residential streets, many of them curving or angled, fitted between major roads that carry traffic east and west across the island.
Several transport routes shape the map. The Southern State Parkway runs along the northern side, Sunrise Highway crosses the village, and the Long Island Rail Road adds its own lines. Valley Stream State Park follows a wooded stream valley in the north, and Green Acres Mall occupies a large block near the Queens border. John F. Kennedy International Airport is a short distance to the southwest.
A Valley Stream map poster shows the fine grain of an inner Long Island suburb. Small blocks, bending streets and a few strong corridors fill most of the frame, while the park and ponds provide open, softer spaces. It is compact and detailed, and it reads well even at small sizes.

Zakaj Valley Stream
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Valley Stream is where many New York families moved for a first house with a yard, and where many children grew up with the city just across the line. A map of the village holds onto that specific place.
