Arterial grid
Major roads run north to south and east to west at wide, regular intervals, a legacy of rural land division that now frames the whole neighbourhood structure.

Vineyard Map Poster & Print
Vineyard is a census-designated place in Sacramento County, lying between the city of Sacramento and Elk Grove. Much of it was farmland and open grassland until recent decades, when new neighbourhoods filled the space in. The map shows that history plainly: long, straight arterial roads mark out a rural grid, and inside each square sit looping residential streets, cul-de-sacs and small parks.
That contrast is what makes the place interesting from above. Older rural parcels still appear along some roads as larger, emptier lots, while the newer tracts are drawn in fine, dense curves. Vineyard has been one of the faster-growing parts of the county since the turn of the century, and its street pattern reads almost like a cross-section of how Central Valley suburbs take shape.
A Vineyard map poster frames that pattern cleanly. The big straight roads divide the composition into panels, each filled with its own swirl of streets, and the remaining farmland provides open space at the edges. Whether you bought one of the first houses on a new street or grew up watching the fields change, the plan tells that story without any words.

Looping subdivisions
Within each square of the grid, residential streets curve, loop and end in cul-de-sacs, creating rounded patterns that contrast sharply with the straight roads around them.
Remaining open land
Farm parcels and undeveloped fields still show up toward the edges, leaving areas of white space where the suburb meets the Central Valley countryside.
