Compact centre
The older town has a dense, irregular street pattern where main roads meet. It forms the clear focal point of the composition.

Vite Map Poster & Print
Vite is in southern Maharashtra, on the Deccan plateau, in a landscape of low hills, open farmland and seasonal streams. From above, the town is a compact cluster of streets with main roads radiating outward to neighbouring towns and villages. Around it, the land is divided into fields, with scattered farmhouses and small tanks for storing water.
This part of the plateau is relatively dry, and water shapes the landscape. Reservoirs, small dams and wells appear across the map, and farming depends heavily on them. The town centre has an older, denser street pattern, while newer areas spread along the roads in a looser grid.
A Vite map poster shows a plateau town in its setting: the compact centre, the roads leading out, and the wide rural land around it. In black and white, the lines of roads and streams stand out against open space, giving the poster a clean, spare structure that suits the Deccan landscape.

Radiating roads
Roads leave the town in several directions across the plateau. They divide the surrounding land into large sections and lead the eye outward.
Water storage
Small tanks and reservoirs dot the landscape around town. They show up as simple shapes among the fields, reflecting the importance of water here.
