Wallingford Center Map Poster & Print
Wallingford Center is the historic core of Wallingford, Connecticut, roughly midway between New Haven and Hartford. The town's main street runs along higher ground, with the Quinnipiac River flowing through the lower land to the west and rail lines and older industrial sites following the valley.
The centre is known for Choate Rosemary Hall, a boarding school whose campus of lawns, quadrangles and brick buildings occupies a large area near the main street. On the map, its open spaces and curving paths form a clear contrast to the regular blocks of the surrounding residential streets.
A Wallingford Center map poster shows a typical New England layout: a long main street, older houses on tree-lined side roads, a river valley and a school campus, all within a compact frame. It is a well-balanced map, with a clear centre and a gentle change of texture toward its edges.
