Lee Navigation
The canalised river passes straight through the town centre, with locks and towpaths along its course, forming the strongest single line on the map.

Ware Map Poster & Print
Ware grew up at a crossing of the River Lea on the old road north from London, and the river still defines the town on a map. The Lee Navigation runs through the centre, with the historic high street lying alongside the water and newer residential streets climbing the gentle slopes of the valley on either side.
For centuries Ware was a centre of the malting trade, sending malt down the river to London, and several former maltings still stand near the water. The town is also known for the Great Bed of Ware, an enormous carved Elizabethan bed mentioned in Shakespeare's Twelfth Night and now held by the Victoria and Albert Museum.
A Ware map poster captures the long, narrow shape of a river town, with the green corridor of the Lea valley running across the frame and the streets gathering around the crossing. Along the riverbank, a row of small eighteenth-century gazebos once attached to inns and houses adds to a townscape that feels quietly particular.

High Street
The old commercial spine runs close to the river, lined with narrow plots and yards that reveal the medieval layout surviving beneath later buildings.
Valley slopes
Residential streets spread uphill away from the river, their curving crescents and cul-de-sacs contrasting with the older, tighter core near the water.

Zakaj Ware
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Ware is the kind of town people leave and come back to, and a map of it keeps the river, the high street and familiar walks in view. It works well in a hallway or study, where a calm, detailed image is welcome.
You can personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a street name or a wedding date, and choose one of five styles. Paper and Sand suit older interiors, while Noir gives the river a dark, striking setting. Start with the free watermarked preview.
