The Detroit River
The river runs along the whole northern edge of the map, a broad channel separating Windsor from Detroit and giving the composition a strong horizon line.

Windsor Map Poster & Print
Windsor occupies the southern bank of the Detroit River, and the curious result is that this Canadian city lies directly south of Detroit. On the map the river forms a clean, slightly bending edge along the top, and the downtown grid meets it with a ribbon of waterfront parks. Ouellette Avenue runs straight inland from the water, the spine around which the older centre is arranged.
Further out, the grid loosens into long parallel streets that echo the narrow farm lots laid out during French settlement, when each property needed a share of river frontage. To the east the city reaches toward Lake St. Clair. To the west, the older district of Sandwich sits near the foot of the Ambassador Bridge, one of the busiest border crossings in North America.
Much of that traffic serves the automotive industry, which has defined Windsor for more than a century. The Detroit–Windsor Tunnel runs beneath the river close to downtown, invisible on paper but part of daily life. A Windsor map poster captures a border city in plain lines: two downtowns, one river, and the crossings that stitch them together.

Ambassador Bridge
West of downtown, the long span of the Ambassador Bridge leaps across the river from the Sandwich area. It is one of the most heavily used international crossings on the continent.
Riverfront parkland
A continuous strip of green lines the water beside downtown, where paths and lawns have replaced older industrial uses along the shoreline.

Zakaj Windsor
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
People often explain Windsor by pointing across the river, and a map makes that relationship easy to see. It suits anyone who grew up here, works in the plants, studied at the university or crosses the border often and wants that geography framed.
Add a title, a subtitle such as a neighbourhood name, and your own coordinates line, then pick from five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The digital download covers six print sizes, each as a 300 DPI PNG and a print-ready PDF.
