Old town core
Short, curving lanes gather around the historic centre, a dense medieval footprint that stands out clearly against the wider, more regular streets built around it in later decades.

Winnenden Map Poster & Print
Winnenden sits in the Rems-Murr district northeast of Stuttgart, where the Zipfelbach runs through a shallow valley between vineyard slopes and farmland. From above, the historic core is a tight knot of short, bending lanes, with the former castle of Winnental set a little apart from it. Around the core, twentieth-century housing and commercial streets spread in looser loops, and the railway line cuts a clean diagonal through the town.
The town is widely known as the home of Kärcher, the cleaning-equipment maker whose headquarters and industrial halls take up large rectilinear blocks on the map. The contrast between the medieval street pattern and the broad footprints of modern industry gives the plan a layered look. It is one of the reasons a Winnenden map poster reads well even at smaller print sizes, where fine detail has to hold its own.
Beyond the built-up edge, the lines thin out into field paths, orchard meadows and roads that follow the contours of the surrounding hills. Neighbouring villages appear as small clusters linked by country roads, so the outer margin of the print has its own quiet rhythm rather than empty space, and gives the dense centre room to breathe.

Schloss Winnental
The former castle grounds form a distinct enclosed block just beyond the core, their buildings and gardens drawn as a clean outline among the surrounding streets.
Zipfelbach valley
The small stream traces a gentle line through town, and the roads that follow its course help explain why Winnenden's plan stretches along the valley rather than forming a ring.

Zakaj Winnenden
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
For people who grew up here, commute into Stuttgart from here or work in one of the town's factories, the plan is instantly recognisable: the old centre, the rail line, the edge where houses give way to vines. A framed print keeps that everyday geography close.
You can set your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, adding a family name or a moving-in date, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The digital files come in six print sizes, or you can order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
