River and canals
A winding river and a network of straight irrigation canals cross the plain. Together they give the map its main structure: one natural curve set against many engineered lines.

Wiset Chaichan Map Poster & Print
Wiset Chaichan is a town in Ang Thong province, on the flat central plain of Thailand north of Bangkok. On a map, the land is almost entirely level and closely tied to water. A river winds past the town, and irrigation canals cut straight lines through rice fields in every direction. The town sits on the slightly raised ground by the water, as settlements on this plain have always done.
The district is known for Wat Muang, a temple with one of the largest seated Buddha statues in the world, which draws visitors from across the country. In the landscape around the town, roads often follow the canals, and villages stretch along the banks rather than clustering in one place.
A Wiset Chaichan map poster shows a landscape shaped by water: the curving river, the ruler-straight canals and the fine grid of field boundaries. The town sits within all of this as a small cluster of streets. It is a calm and detailed composition, and it suits people from Ang Thong and the wider central plain.

Rice field grid
Paddy fields cover the land around the town in small rectangular plots. They form a fine, even texture that fills the outer part of the poster.
Settlement along water
Houses and villages stretch along the riverbanks and canals instead of clustering in one place. This creates long, linear bands of development across the map.
