Canals and ditches run across the plain in long, straight lines, dividing the land into fields and giving the map a woven, grid-like texture.

Wutongshu Map Poster & Print
Wutongshu lies in Ningxia, south of the regional capital Yinchuan, on the broad plain watered by the Yellow River. The land here is flat, and the map reflects it: straight roads, rectangular fields and a network of irrigation canals that divide the countryside into regular parcels. The town itself forms a compact cluster within that pattern.
Irrigation has shaped this part of Ningxia for centuries, turning a dry region into productive farmland. To the west, the Helan Mountains rise above the plain, while the Yellow River runs to the east, and the settlements in between are arranged around the water that makes farming possible.
A Wutongshu map poster turns this agricultural geometry into a clean, structured design. The town's streets sit inside a grid of canals and field roads, giving the poster a strong sense of order. It is a landscape made by people over a long time, and the map shows that clearly.

Flat plain
With almost no relief, the landscape is defined by human lines rather than natural ones, which makes the composition calm and geometric.
Compact town
The town's built-up area forms a clear block among the fields, its streets slightly denser than the rural grid that surrounds it on all sides.
