Compact centre
The built-up area is small and clearly bounded, so the whole town fits comfortably on the sheet, with a margin of countryside around it.

Yantongshan Map Poster & Print
Yantongshan is a town in central Jilin province, in northeast China. It lies in the hilly country that rises between the Songliao plain and the Changbai mountains to the east. From above, the settlement is compact. Its streets are gathered on the ground that is level enough to build on, while farmland and forest fill the surrounding slopes.
On the map, the town is defined less by monuments than by the land itself: the course of the main roads, the edges of the fields and the small streams that drain the hills. Winters in this part of Jilin are long and cold, and the town has the practical, compact form common in the northeast, with little space left between buildings.
A Yantongshan map poster keeps this character intact. In fine black lines, the street pattern sits inside a wider frame of rural roads and terrain, which gives the print a quiet, almost diagrammatic calm. It suits people with family ties to the area, or anyone who likes maps of places that are rarely shown at all.

Roads between hills
Main roads leave the town toward neighbouring settlements. They bend with the terrain of central Jilin instead of running on a strict grid.
Streams and fields
Small watercourses and field boundaries around the edges add fine texture and show how closely the town is tied to the farmland around it.
