Yihe Map Poster & Print
Yihe is a town in Chongqing municipality, in the folded hill country of the upper Yangtze basin. Here the land rarely lies flat for long, and settlements are shaped by the ridges and small valleys around them. Terraced fields, winding roads and clusters of buildings all adjust to the slope.
On the map, Yihe appears as an irregular settlement rather than a grid. Streets curve to follow contours, some running along a valley floor, others climbing toward higher ground. The built area thins quickly at its edges, giving way to the open spaces of farmland and hillside that surround it.
A Yihe map poster captures a characteristic Chongqing landscape at small scale. The region is famous for its mountain city on the Yangtze, and even small towns like this one share that sense of living with steep terrain, where every road and lane has had to find its own way through the hills.

Compact built area
Buildings gather tightly where the ground allows, forming a small dense core that stands out clearly against the surrounding open space.
Hillside edges
The town fades quickly into farmland and slopes, leaving broad empty areas on the map that suggest the terraces and ridges beyond.
