Yuntai Map Poster & Print
Yuntai is a town in Chongqing Municipality, in the hilly country northeast of the main urban area. This part of the Sichuan Basin is known for its parallel ridges and valleys, long lines of hills running roughly northeast to southwest, and settlements usually sit on the lower ground between them.
From above, Yuntai appears as a concentrated cluster of streets on the valley floor, with roads following the direction of the terrain. Around it, the map shows scattered hamlets, terraced fields and small reservoirs, typical of the farmed hills of eastern Sichuan and Chongqing.
A Yuntai map poster shows how closely the town follows the land. The elongated centre, the roads bending with the slopes and the fine detail of fields and ponds produce a print full of texture, quite different from the high-rise density of central Chongqing.

Fields and ponds
Terraced fields, small reservoirs and scattered hamlets fill the surrounding hills with fine detail, giving the map a rich texture.
