Hill-country roads
Local roads wind between low hills and fields instead of following a grid. Their soft, irregular lines give the poster a hand-drawn character.

Yuxi Map Poster & Print
This Yuxi lies in the western part of Chongqing municipality, in the hill country that stretches toward the Sichuan Basin. It is a small place, and on a map it appears as a compact cluster of streets surrounded by farmland. Here the landscape, not the town, sets the overall pattern.
The terrain is made of low, rounded hills cut by small streams. Roads rarely run straight for long. They bend around slopes, follow the edges of fields and link scattered hamlets to the town center. In black lines this forms an organic web, very different from the planned grids of larger Chinese cities.
Several places in China share the name Yuxi, so on a map of this one the exact location matters. A Yuxi map poster centered on the town shows its own streets and the rural roads around it, and the coordinates line makes clear which Yuxi is meant.

Compact town center
The built-up core is a small, dense cluster of short streets. It is where the surrounding rural roads meet and where the map shows the most detail.
Rural surroundings
Beyond the center, the map opens into farmland and scattered settlements. This lighter pattern of lines frames the town and shows its place in the wider landscape.

Zakaj Yuxi
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
This poster is for people with roots in western Chongqing, perhaps now living far away, who want an accurate picture of their home town rather than a generic image of the region. Small places rarely get a map of their own, which makes this one more personal.
You can set the title, add a subtitle in your own wording, and keep or edit the coordinates line. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Order it as $9 HD files in six sizes or as a printed poster.
