Zhuxi Map Poster & Print
Zhuxi lies in the rolling hills of western Chongqing, between the city of Chongqing and the Sichuan border. The landscape here is less dramatic than the mountains in the east of the municipality, but it is never flat. From above, low ridges and small valleys shape everything, from road lines to the edges of the fields.
The town has a compact centre with newer blocks and wider roads around it. Main routes curve to follow the land and connect it to neighbouring towns. Outside the built-up area, terraced fields, ponds and reservoirs fill the valleys. Small roads trace the contours to reach scattered farmhouses on the slopes.
A Zhuxi map poster captures the soft, irregular geometry of this Sichuan Basin countryside. Without colour, the curving roads, the town centre and the scattered ponds combine into a calm, finely balanced image of a place shaped by gentle hills.

Contour roads
Routes curve around ridges instead of running straight. Their flowing lines give the poster movement and depth.
Ponds and terraces
Small reservoirs and terraced fields fill the valleys. They add scattered shapes and fine texture across the edges of the map.
