Cullera Map Poster & Print
Cullera stands on the Valencian coast where the Júcar River, known locally as the Xúquer, meets the Mediterranean. On a map it is one of the most recognisable towns in the region: a rocky hill rises almost straight from the flat plain, the old town sits between that slope and the river, and the coast runs away to the north in a long line of beaches.
The hill is crowned by a medieval castle and the Sanctuary of the Virgin of the Castle, visible from far across the rice fields. On its seaward side a lighthouse marks the cape. North of the town the shore becomes a strip of apartment blocks and sand, while inland the land flattens into the wetlands and paddies at the southern end of the Albufera natural park.
A Cullera map poster works across several scales. Closely framed, it shows the tight streets of the old town and the final meander of the river. Framed wider, it takes in the hill, the cape, the coastline and the geometric pattern of rice fields, a combination of sea, rock and farmland that few towns can fit onto one sheet.

Mouth of the Júcar
The river makes a wide final bend past the old town before reaching the sea, a curved line that gives the map its southern edge.
Beaches and rice fields
A continuous line of beaches runs along the coast, while inland the rectangular paddies of the Albufera area form a fine, regular grid.

Pse Cullera
Një hartë me kuptim
For many families from Valencia and beyond, Cullera means summer: the beach, the climb to the sanctuary, the evening walk by the river. A map poster keeps that season on the wall all year, drawn with enough detail to trace a favourite route.
Add your own title, a subtitle naming a beach or a year of holidays, and the coordinates line. Choose between Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, and download the HD files for $9 or order a matte printed poster, framed if you prefer.
