Hillside street weave
Streets curve and branch across the rolling terrain in a fine, irregular pattern. This dense texture fills almost the entire frame and looks striking in monochrome.

Esenler Map Poster & Print
Esenler is a residential district on the European side of Istanbul, well inland from both the Bosphorus and the Sea of Marmara. Its neighbourhoods cover rolling ground in the western part of the city. The map shows a tight, irregular pattern of streets that follow the slopes rather than a planned grid, and few open spaces break the density.
Much of Esenler grew quickly from the second half of the twentieth century, as people moved to Istanbul from across Turkey. The street network reflects that step-by-step growth: short blocks, winding lanes and small squares around local mosques and markets. The city's main intercity bus terminal, widely known by the Esenler name, sits near its eastern edge.
An Esenler map poster is a portrait of everyday Istanbul, away from the landmarks on the waterfront. Wide motorways and main avenues cut across the district, and metro lines connect it to the rest of the city. In a wider framing, the dense fabric continues into the neighbouring districts and shows how Istanbul spreads across its hills.

Motorway edges
Major arterial roads and motorways border and cross the district, drawing strong, smooth lines that contrast with the tightly packed residential lanes between them.
Bus terminal area
The large intercity bus station near the district's edge appears as a broad, open structure among the streets, a landmark for anyone who has arrived in Istanbul by road.

Pse Esenler
Një hartë me kuptim
Esenler is home to hundreds of thousands of Istanbul residents, many with family roots elsewhere in Turkey. A poster of its streets celebrates the neighbourhood itself, with its school runs, local markets and family visits, rather than a postcard view of the city.
Add a mahalle name, a family surname or a date to the title and subtitle, and set the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and order the HD files for $9 or a printed poster on matte paper.
