Filicudi Map Poster & Print
Filicudi is one of the western Aeolian Islands, north of Sicily, and one of the least developed in the group. From above it is a compact, roughly round volcanic mass with steep slopes falling to the sea. A single road connects the port with a few scattered hamlets on the higher ground. Much of the island can only be reached on foot, along old mule tracks.
The harbour, Filicudi Porto, lies on the east side beside a low, narrow strip of land. This leads to the headland of Capo Graziano, where archaeologists excavated a Bronze Age village. Off the west coast, the tall, slender sea stack called La Canna rises from the water. It is the remains of an old volcanic vent and appears on the map as a tiny dot set apart from the shore.
The island's quiet has long drawn visitors who want the Aeolian Islands without the crowds. A Filicudi map poster reflects that restraint: a small, dark outline of volcanic land, a few thin lines of road and footpath, and a wide margin of open sea, with its neighbours Alicudi and Salina just beyond the frame.

La Canna
A slender sea stack off the west coast, the remains of an old volcanic vent. It appears as a small separate mark in the water beside the island.
Mule tracks
Beyond the single road, stepped paths link the hamlets on the slopes. The map shows faint footpaths wherever the road does not reach.

Një hartë me kuptim
People choose Filicudi deliberately and often return for years to the same house on the hillside. A map of the island suits anyone who values quiet and small scale, and it looks especially striking in a small format.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with the name of a hamlet or the summer you first arrived. Choose one of five styles, from Classic black & white to Sand, as a $9 HD download or as a printed poster from one of our print partners.
