Hunt Valley Map Poster & Print
Hunt Valley lies in Baltimore County, Maryland, north of Baltimore along Interstate 83. From above, it looks quite different from a traditional town: large office and industrial campuses, parking areas and shopping centres are laid out along wide roads, with residential streets and wooded land surrounding them. The interstate forms the district's clear spine.
Hunt Valley is the headquarters of McCormick, the spice and flavourings company, and it marks the northern end of Baltimore's light rail line, which runs south from here into the city. The surrounding countryside, with horse farms and rolling hills, reflects the area's longer history as horse country.
A Hunt Valley map poster captures an unusual kind of place: a business district shaped by highways and campuses, framed by green valleys and parkland such as Oregon Ridge. The contrast between the broad, geometric footprints of offices and the fine curves of rural roads gives the print a distinctive, modern look.
