Tebesbest Map Poster & Print
Tebesbest sits next to Touggourt in the Oued Righ, a long chain of oases in Algeria's northern Sahara. The two towns almost run together, and on a map they form one continuous settlement surrounded by palm gardens. Beyond the gardens there is nothing but desert. Few places show the edge between cultivated land and sand as clearly.
Oasis towns follow their own logic. Older quarters tend to be compact and inward-looking, with narrow lanes that keep out the sun. Newer districts are more open and regular. Around them, palm plots are divided into small irregular parcels, fed by wells and channels. In monochrome, this gives a distinctive fine grain between the town and the empty ground beyond.
A Tebesbest map poster is for people who know the place well: families from the Oued Righ, and those who have worked in the region's oil and date industries or visited Touggourt. It is a map about water and shade in a very dry landscape, and it reads as quiet and deliberate on the wall.

Palm gardens
Small irregular plots of date palms surround the built-up area. They form a textured band between the streets and the open desert.
Desert edge
Past the gardens the map goes almost blank, which makes the cultivated land stand out sharply against the Sahara around it.

Pse Tebesbest
Një hartë me kuptim
For families from the Oued Righ, this is a map of home in its truest sense: the gardens, the lanes and the desert beyond. It makes a quiet tribute and a thoughtful gift for someone who has moved away.
The title, subtitle and coordinates are editable, and the subtitle can be written in Arabic or French. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand is a natural choice for an oasis, and Classic keeps the plots crisp.
