Apatzingán Map Poster & Print
Apatzingán lies in the Tierra Caliente of Michoacán, a hot, low valley in western Mexico enclosed by mountain ranges. From above, the city is a regular grid of blocks around its central square, with irrigation channels and orchards spreading across the valley floor around it. Roads extend outward to smaller towns and farming areas, and hills rise at the horizon.
The city holds a significant place in Mexican history: in 1814, during the War of Independence, the Constitution of Apatzingán was proclaimed here, one of the first constitutional documents of an independent Mexico. The region is also a major agricultural producer, known in particular for its limes and other fruit.
An Apatzingán map poster shows a city defined by its valley. The central grid is compact and clear, field patterns form a textured border, and the roads trace the links between town and countryside. The print is a clean image of a place with national significance and a strong connection to the land that surrounds it.

Irrigated valley
Around the city, orchards and fields are divided by canals and rural roads, producing a fine geometric texture across the hot valley floor.
Mountain horizon
The Tierra Caliente is ringed by higher ground, and toward the edges of the map the terrain begins to rise, closing the valley's broad, flat space.
