Ridge-top outline
The town follows a long ridge, which gives it an unusually narrow, stretched shape that is recognisable at a glance on the finished poster.

Mapa
Ariel Map Poster & Print
Ariel is an Israeli settlement city in the central West Bank, and its international status is disputed. Its shape on the map comes directly from the terrain: the town stretches for several kilometres along a narrow ridge, running roughly east to west, so the built-up area is long and thin rather than round. Main roads follow the crest while smaller streets curve down the slopes.
Because the ground falls away on both sides of the ridge, many residential streets bend with the contours, creating layered, curving lines on the map. Ariel is home to Ariel University, whose campus forms a distinct cluster of buildings within the town. Around the edges, open hillsides and terraced land fill the space between neighbouring communities.
An Ariel map poster reads almost like a relief drawing, even without shading: the elongated outline and the curving streets reveal the ridge beneath them. Printed in a single colour, the composition is simple and clear, focused on the way the town adapts to the land it was built on.
