Central square
The heart of Aurora is its central square and church, where the main streets meet. On the map it forms a small open space inside the densest blocks.

Aurora Map Poster & Print
Aurora is a municipality in the south of Ceará, in Brazil's Northeast, inland from the coast in the semi-arid country known as the sertão. The town itself is compact, a close grid of streets with a central square, and it sits in a wide rural landscape of fields, scrub and seasonal streams.
As in many interior towns of the Northeast, the street pattern is simple and easy to read. A few main streets carry most of the traffic, the church and square mark the centre, and the blocks become looser toward the edges where houses give way to plots and farmland. Roads lead out toward neighbouring municipalities across the dry country.
An Aurora map poster reflects that clarity. The dense centre and the open land around it form a natural composition, with the few roads out of town giving the design direction. For families from Aurora living in Fortaleza, São Paulo or elsewhere, the map is a quiet way to keep the town in view.

Simple street grid
Aurora's streets follow a straightforward grid of short blocks, typical of interior towns in Ceará, gradually loosening toward the edge of town.
Sertão surroundings
Around the town, the semi-arid sertão spreads out with farms, scrub and seasonal watercourses, leaving the built-up area clearly defined on the map.
