Mapa
Baihecun Map Poster & Print
Baihecun lies in the southwest of Guangxi, a region of rolling hills, limestone outcrops and river valleys not far from the border with Vietnam. From above, the settlement shows a compact cluster of streets surrounded by fields, with roads following the flatter ground and the lower slopes. The landscape around it breaks into irregular patches of farmland and wooded high ground.
Little detailed information about the town is widely published, so this map focuses on what can be seen from above: the layout of its streets, the roads linking it to neighbouring towns, and the patterns of fields and hills around it. Places like this make up much of rural southern China, and their maps show how settlements adapt to the terrain.
A Baihecun map poster presents that landscape without labels or clutter. The built-up area forms a dense patch at the centre, roads reach out through the valleys, and the surrounding fields and slopes create a softer texture. In black and white, the result is a quiet and honest portrait of a small place in southern China.

Valley roads
Roads leading out of town follow the lower ground between hills, so they curve and branch in ways shaped by the terrain rather than by a planned grid.
Field patterns
Farmland around the town divides into irregular plots, giving the outer parts of the map a gentle, varied texture.
