Mapa
Bartlett Map Poster & Print
Bartlett is a village in the western suburbs of Chicago, spread across parts of Cook, DuPage and Kane counties. It began as a railroad stop, and the Metra line still runs through the old centre, where the small historic downtown sits beside the station. From there, the map fans out into curving residential streets built as the village grew in the late twentieth century.
The village is named after Luther Bartlett, an early landowner who gave land for the railway depot. Large stretches of open space break up its streets, including forest preserves, golf courses and prairie areas. These give the map broad white fields and irregular edges, a contrast to the tight loops and cul-de-sacs of the subdivisions around them.
A Bartlett map poster suits families who have settled into one of its neighbourhoods, commuters who know the ride into the city, and anyone who likes the calm rhythm of a Midwestern suburb. The railroad, the historic centre and the green preserves give the composition structure beyond the usual pattern of cul-de-sacs.

Curving subdivisions
Most residential areas follow looping streets and cul-de-sacs, forming soft, self-contained patterns that fill the space between the main arterial roads.
Open preserves
Forest preserves, golf courses and prairie land leave wide open areas on the map, framing the village with generous white space.

Zašto Bartlett
Mapa koja nešto znači
Bartlett is often a chosen home rather than an inherited one, and a map of it makes a good housewarming gift. The poster traces the street where you live, the route to the station and the green spaces used on weekends.
Add your own title, a subtitle such as a family name or move-in date, and a coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and print it yourself from the PDF or order a framed poster.
